Collier Engineering performed the survey, design, and construction engineering & inspection (CEI) for the project along the Arno Road corridor at Page Middle School & Page High School in Franklin, Tennessee. The proposed roadway improvements and resurfacing project consisted of roadway construction West of Page Middle School to the bridge crossing over Starnes Creek. The length of the project is approximately 0.77 mile, and the proposed improvements were constructed to allow for 36’ wide paved roadway with four (4) foot paved shoulders on each side. The final surface of the roadway was upgraded to hot mix asphalt. The project grading included the necessary roadway ditches on either side of the road as needed for storm water drainage, drainage culverts at private driveways and side roads, and the necessary side slope and driveway adjustments for the roadway improvements. Coordination with local utilities was be performed by Collier Engineering, and assistance was provided by the Williamson County Highway Department for any property owner issues such as fences, driveways, landscaping, and construction / slope easements.
