Collier Engineering provided surveying, design, and Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) services for improvements along the Arno Road corridor near Page Middle School and Page High School in Franklin, Tennessee. The approximately 0.77-mile project included roadway improvements and resurfacing from west of Page Middle School to the bridge crossing over Starnes Creek.

Improvements included construction of a 36-foot-wide paved roadway with four-foot paved shoulders on each side and a new hot mix asphalt surface. The project also incorporated roadway grading, roadside ditches for stormwater drainage, drainage culverts at private driveways and side roads, and necessary side slope and driveway adjustments.

Collier coordinated with local utilities throughout the project and worked with the Williamson County Highway Department to address property-related considerations, including fences, driveways, landscaping, and construction and slope easements. From survey and design through construction inspection, Collier provided continuity throughout project delivery and helped ensure the completed improvements met the County’s roadway and drainage needs.
