Geotechnical Engineering

We perform geotechnical exploration, analysis, and consulting to support project teams’ decisions regarding the expected behavior at the interface of geology and structure, and the anticipated reaction and performance of earth materials under loads imposed by structure, grading, and improvements.  Our team members collaborate with owners, designers, builders, and contractors from project conception through vertical construction to coordinate project geotechnical engineering demands with stakeholder expectations and the built environment.

Our staff provides on-call emergency response services to review urgent situations affecting buildings and infrastructure. Such circumstances may be caused by earth movement resulting from landslides, sinkholes, erosion, subsidence, or excessive settlement. We frequently respond to client requests to conduct forensic studies guiding critical, informed decisions for temporary actions and long term results.
