Hadley Park Tennis Center - Nashville, TN
Client:
Metro Nashville Metro Parks Department
The Parks Department looked to update Hadley Parks existing tennis facility and allow the program to function independently without the use of the Community Center. They accomplished this by replacing the existing inflatable enclosure and replaced it with a new metal truss and membrane structure. The new tennis center now operate as a complete standalone facility within Hadley Park with an approximately 100 square foot office, reception area, water fountains, and two separate restrooms. The new enclosure is insulated and not dependent on the flow of air to remain standing. This facility is equipped with back-drop curtains, court dividers, LED lighting, and an HVAC system. The project also included some sidewalk connections along with stormwater improvements outside of the building’s footprint.
