The Parks Department sought to update Hadley Park’s existing tennis facility and allow the program to operate independently without using the Community Center. They accomplished this by replacing the existing inflatable enclosure and replaced it with a new metal truss and membrane structure. The new tennis center now operates as a complete standalone facility within Hadley Park with an approximately 100-square-foot office, reception area, water fountains, and two separate restrooms. The new enclosure is insulated and does not depend on airflow to remain standing. This facility is equipped with back-drop curtains, court dividers, LED lighting, and an HVAC system. The project also included sidewalk connections and stormwater improvements outside the building’s footprint. Collier performed Construction and Engineering Inspection Services for Metro Parks.
