Jefferson Street Bike Lane - Nashville, TN

The Jefferson Street Bikeway project provided over 2 miles of dedicated, separated, and protected bike lanes, one mile in each direction, improving safety and connectivity for cyclists. Protection features included buffer striping, cycle lane delineators, and flexible delineators. The scope also involved full resurfacing, curb and driveway ramp upgrades, new pavement markings, and signage installation, all completed without reducing existing traffic lanes.

Construction was carried out through three Metro Annual Contracts with prime contractors Jones Bros., Kerr Bros., and Roy T. Goodwin, with additional support from NDOT’s in-house Sign Shop.
