TDOT - High Priority Bridge Replacement Program (HPBRP)

Collier Engineering performed the engineering design and CEI management for the project’s bridge replacement and roadway improvements at Martin Ervin Road over Leipers Creek in Maury County, TN. The original bridge, built in 1950, was a 131’-10”, four-span structure. Because the structure was over 70 years old and narrow, it no longer met the traveling public’s needs. Collier Engineering designed a 135’ two-span structure as a replacement, allowing for better flow of Leipers Creek. The new structure is also broader, allowing for two-way traffic.
