Registered Land Surveyor

Job Description

Collier Engineering is seeking an experienced Registered Land Surveyor to support our Survey team. The ideal candidate will have experience with data collection and processing of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and as-built surveys, as well as deed research, plotting deeds, and boundary resolutions.

Responsibilities and duties

• Provide survey support for internal engineering, planning, and construction management services

• daily duties include completing field-work computation, maintaining records, etc.

• Performs the following surveys: Boundary, topographic, construction layout and staking, and land surveying to include administrative functions of completing field-work (i.e. computations, maintain records, etc.)

Required Experience

• 3+ years Land Survey experience

• Licensed in TN or ability to obtain

• Working knowledge of principles and practices of land surveying

• Background in Carlson Survey and Surveying processing

• CAD experience

• Capable of using Microsoft Office suite with excellent communications skills.

• Team-oriented; excellent communications skills to work with team

• Ability to operate motorized equipment

• Valid Driver’s License -

• Ability to qualify for insurance through our Fleet Program (No DUI in last 7 years)

• Ability to pass a drug test
