Registered Land Surveyor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Land Surveyor to support our Survey team.
We are looking for a driven individual with a background in Carlson Survey and survey processing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dependability and be team oriented with excellent communication skills and a willingness to continue to learn, grow and share their surveying knowledge.
Responsibilities and duties:
Provide survey support for internal engineering, planning, and construction management services.
Daily duties include but are not limited to the following: speaking with potential clients about their survey needs, property research, writing proposals/providing quotes for survey requests, ensuring data/information is prepared and ready for field crews to perform the task(s) at hand, layout calculations, boundary resolution, invoicing.
This is a heavy office role, but have the willingness and be in the physical shape to perform field work as needed.
While we strive not to work extreme hours, this position will require overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
Licensed in TN or ability to obtain.
Working knowledge of principles and practices of land surveying
Carlson Survey experience
Capable of using Microsoft Office suite.
Team-oriented; excellent communication skills to work with the team
Ability to operate motorized equipment.
Valid Driver’s License. Must qualify under the company auto insurance program.
Ability to pass a drug test.
